Escrow mechanics
AIDeFi replaces centralized escrow middlemen with programmatic, non-custodial smart contracts on Arbitrum. Buyers fund deposits and purchases in stablecoins; funds remain on-chain until release rules are met.
Automotive (live on Sepolia): VehicleEscrow with 2-of-2 mutual release (buyer confirmation + seller vote). Deadlocks escalate to Kleros v2 for programmatic refund, release, or split.
Maritime & aviation (in active testing): Dedicated smart contracts for yacht and aircraft transactions. Maritime assets use Hull Identification Numbers (HIN); aviation assets use aircraft registration (tail numbers) and manufacturer serial validation. Both verticals employ a 2-of-3 multisignature escrow model (buyer, seller, decentralized arbitrator). Contracts are implemented and under Foundry test validation ahead of testnet deployment.
Phase 1 (Complete): Successfully deployed the core, non-custodial layer-2 escrow router and public contract ledger on the Arbitrum Sepolia testnet alongside an operational automotive marketplace MVP.
Phase 2 (Active): Integrating dedicated maritime smart contracts supporting HIN, completing Foundry validation of the 2-of-3 multisignature yacht escrow contract, deploying a high-concurrency NoSQL caching layer, and validating end-to-end dispute flows.
Phase 3 (Upcoming): Extending the 2-of-3 multisignature escrow framework to aviation assets (tail numbers and serial validation), executing final security hardening, and migrating all system pipelines to the Arbitrum One mainnet.
